They were always an interesting duo to pay attention to purely because of the time they spent together. Hearing Mascherano’s takes on Messi and vice-versa was always something to note.
Mascherano retired this week and his old buddy Messi posted on Facebook with some nice words about his former teammate and also Fernando Gago who has also hung up his boots. Touching stuff.
