Memphis Depay wasn’t too happy with his performance despite bagging a hat-trick and picking up an assist for the Netherlands in Tuesday’s 6-1 demolition of Turkey.
It was a first international hat-trick for Memphis who now has 33 goals for his country, level with Johan Cruyff and Abe Lenstra, but he said after the match he expects more from himself.
“We were careless, especially me. I lost my first three balls, I am not satisfied with that and I need to improve. I am happy, especially with the result, but I expect more from myself.
