Mauro Icardi's wife and agent Wanda Nara has admtited her client has refused a sizeable contract offer from Inter, and has revealed his staggering demands for the new deal to be completed.
Icardi has been the Nerazzurri's goalscoring rock once again this season, with 13 goals in 22 games across competitions thus far - still a slightly lower total than would perhaps be expected, given his exemplary standards.
However, leading from the front as captain, he has still been Luciano Spalletti's best player by a distance, and the club want it to stay that way. The Argentine's current contract runs until 2021, but Inter have been seeking to extend this since the summer, with a host of European clubs, including Juventus and Real Madrid, reportedly sniffing around the striker.
