After seeing the Matildas fall to Italy in their first match of the 2019 Women's World Cup, Mark Bosnich is adamant Alen Stajcic's axing as coach earlier this year is still having an impact on the side.
New Australia coach Ante Milicic came under heavy criticism for his tactics against Italy with former Matilda Heather Garriock describing the team's high-line as 'absolutely ridiculous'.
Bosnich declaring Australia must adjust their tactcis somewhat if they are to progress to the knockout stages and adamant that Stajcic's sacking has hurt the side.

"You’ve got to make some tweaks, because if you don’t, on the evidence I’ve seen, they’re going to struggle to get past the group," Bosnich said on Fox Sports show Bill & Boz.
