A quick double from the hosts marred what was otherwise a rather dominant performance from Santos Laguna, as Lobos BUAP won 2-0 Sunday afternoon. Goals from Leonardo Ramos and Yago Da Silva were the difference makers for Lobos.
The game started out a bit slow, but an early mistake early on almost cost Santos. Matheus Doría and Hugo Nervo played lateral balls to one another while waiting for the midfield to open up a bit. Lobos BUAP forward Leonardo Ramos timed a run perfectly, forcing Nervo to make a bad touch and freeing the ball. Ramos ran on to it but was just edged out in a foot race between him and Santos goalkeeper Jonathan Orozco, who cleared the ball upfield and out of danger.
