Martial move ruled out by Bayern but Man Utd questions remain

Anthony Martial continues to see his Manchester United future called into question, but he will not be heading to Bayern Munich this summer.

With the clock now ticking towards deadline day, leading clubs across Europe are busy finalising their recruitment plans.

There promises to be plenty more comings and goings, with it possible that Martial could be among those heading out of Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho has hinted that the France international could be offloaded, but Bundesliga champions Bayern have moved to distance themselves from links to the 22-year-old.

Amid suggestions that Martial could be acquired in a swap deal involving Jerome Boateng, Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Bild: “We have four wingers: [Franck] Ribery, [Arjen] Robben, [Kingsley] Coman and [Serge] Gnabry.
