Marotta: Juventus won't make another Hamsik bid

The Serie A and Coppa Italia champion had a 25 million euro bid for the attacking midfielder rejected in summer and the director insists it will not go back for him in January.

Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta says the club will not return with a second offer for Napoli star Marek Hamsik in January.

Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed that the Partenopei snubbed a 25 million euro ($28 million) bid from the Serie A winner for its star midfielder in the summer.

Juve then turned to signing Hernanes from Inter on deadline day and Marotta insists the Bianconeri are no longer looking to invest in that part of the squad after missing out on Hamsik and Julian Draxler.
