Uruguay coach Marcelo Bielsa offered a quick update on Ronald Araujo’s injury after the Barcelona defender was forced off at the Copa America against Brazil.
The center-back is now set to undergo further tests and Barcelona will be hoping it’s not a serious problem that will see him miss the start of the season.
“I think Ronald Araujo’s injury is a muscular one, which will be confirmed tomorrow when the tests are done,” Bielsa told reporters after the win.
The Uruguay boss also went on to highlight the busy fixture schedule as one major reason why players are picking up so many injuries.
