Barcelona Atletic boss Albert Sanchez has revealed he’s holding up Marc Casado as the example for his players to follow if they want to make it into the first team at the club.
Casado captained the B team last season but was promoted over the summer and is now emerging as an important player for Hansi Flick’s side.
Sanchez says he spoke to his players before their last match and explained why they should be trying to follow in Casado’s footsteps.
“In the pre-match talk I gave Casadó as an example. I was lucky enough to coach him for three years, one in the youth team and two in the reserve team.
