Barcelona have confirmed that talented young midfielder Marc Bernal has signed a new contract with the club.
Bernal is one of several players being tipped to break into the first team soon at Barcelona after coming through the ranks at the club.
Here’s the club’s official statement:
“FC Barcelona has reached an agreement with the player Marc Bernal for the adjustment of his contract, which ties him to the Club until June 30, 2026, when the youth phase will close.
“The Catalan midfielder renewed his contract when he made the jump to the youth team, and now sees his link extended after a dynamic first season at Barça Atlètic.
