Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen paid tribute to manager Xavi after the team’s final game of the season on Sunday under the current manager.
The Catalans ran out 2-1 winners at Sevilla to ensure Xavi leaves on a winning note thanks to goals from Robert Lewandowski and Fermin Lopez.
Ter Stegen was asked about his boss after the game
“We are going to compete next season for more titles. It’s been a difficult campaign and let’s hope we have a more successful one next season,” he told the media.
“Xavi’s given us so much in a professional sense, working hard every day so we could succeed.
