Marc-Andre ter Stegen will be back on the bench for Germany in their opening Euro 2020 qualifier against Netherlands on Sunday.
The Barcelona goalkeeper has been outstanding again this season and played the second half of Germany’s 1-1 friendly draw with Serbia on Wednesday.
However, he does not appear to have done enought to impress manager Joachim Low, who has confirmed Manuel Neuer will be back between the sticks on Sunday.
It’s a tough call for Ter Stegen but the Bayern Munich stopper remains Germany’s first-choice for some reason and will start what looks like being a tough game for Die Mannschaft.
