Reports that Robin van Persie will depart Manchester United have been played down by his agent, while the club have lined up Fernando Muslera as a replacement for David De Gea.
David Amoyal of GianlucaDiMarzio.com reported Turkish club Fenerbahce are nearing a deal for Van Persie, while the Guardian's Jamie Jackson told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT: "Robin van Persie is for sale."
Kees Voss, the Dutchman's agent, was quick to quash talk of a move, however. Speaking to Voetbal International, Voss said (via David Kent of the Daily Mail): "If Robin had found a new club, we would have announced it.
