Everton are reportedly hoping to land Manchester United winger Memphis Depay on loan in January.
According to the MailOnline's Simon Jones, Toffees boss Ronald Koeman believes he can kickstart his compatriot's career with a temporary switch during the second half of the season, as well as boost his squad's strength in depth.
At Goodison Park, he would be competing with Kevin Mirallas and Yannick Bolasie for a place on the flanks.
However, as Koeman doesn't seem overly convinced by Gerard Deulofeu or Aaron Lennon—who have made three and zero starts in the Premier League respectively this season—there would likely be plenty of scope for him to feature.
