Manchester United are preparing themselves for a bidding war, as Manchester City plan to scupper their efforts to capture Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos.
Darren Lewis of the Mirror says the deposed Premier League champions will battle their local rivals for Ramos' signature after United's initial bids for the defender were rejected by Los Blancos.
The Sunday People's Neil Moxley(h/t the Mirror) reported the Galacticos want £63 million for the coveted World Cup winner and that the Red Devils' offers to date have been "way short of Real's valuation.
