Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has fuelled rumours of a move to Real Madrid by playing it coy when asked about his future.
The Spanish stopper spoke during a ceremony that saw him become an adopted son of Castilla-La Mancha, reported by Manu Sainz of AS. He decided to play it cool, saying: "We'll see what happens with my future. ... Now I am on holiday and I am very happy for this recognition," per Sainz's report.
This quote does nothing to help United boss Louis van Gaal, who recently suggested De Gea has the power to determine his own path, reported by the BBC (h/t Richard Jolly of ESPN FC): "I cannot say when [De Gea's future] will be resolved.
