Manchester United have made "concrete transfer offers" for Bayern Munich duo Bastian Schweinsteiger and Dante, according to Will Giles of the Metro, who cites reports in Germany.
"Both Schweinsteiger and Dante could be ushered out as part of the (Bayern) revamp," writes Giles, who indicates former club boss Louis van Gaal may explore the Bundesliga market during the summer.
Van Gaal recently admitted he is looking to land "two players for every position," reported by Ben Hibbs and Stewart Gardner of United's official website.
Schweinsteiger remains a top quality midfielder—someone who could provide a battle-hardened alternative to Michael Carrick—while Dante's physical power may translate well to a stint in the Premier League.
