After three commanding performances at the World Cup, Socceroos midfielder Aaron Mooy has seemingly caught the attention of his former owners.
Manchester City only sold Mooy to Huddersfield last season after the Australian had spent a season on loan with the Terriers, but a report suggests the Premier League champions want him back.
According to ESPN FC, City are contemplating activating a £20m buy-back clause for Mooy with Everton, West Ham United and Southampton all also reported to be interested in signing the 27-year-old.
Mooy played every minute of the Socceroos World Cup campaign and was one of Australia's star performers as they ended Group C bottom after a 2-0 defeat to Peru.
