Manchester United have given Inter a week to lodge a £75m bid to meet their valuation of Romelu Lukaku so they can attempt to sign a replacement before the Premier League’s transfer window draws to a close in August.
It has been well documented throughout the summer that new Inter manager Antonio Conte is eager to sign the Belgian forward, a man he also wanted when he was at Chelsea.
Inter, who have already had a £54m bid rejected for the former Everton striker, must come up with an extra £20m soon if they want Lukaku leading the line this season.
