LONDON -- Upton Park exploded, Manchester United imploded. Louis van Gaal's team led West Ham United by a goal with less than 20 minutes to play and appeared to be in pole position in the race for a Champions League spot. Then it all fell apart in the space of eight minutes. In the final game at this revered old ground, Slaven Bilic's side launched an onslaught at the United goal and were rewarded when Winston Reid headed into the net to earn West Ham a 3-2 victory.
Diafra Sakho had given the London side the advantage in a first half dominated by West Ham but Anthony Martial put United in position to overhaul Manchester City in the top four with two goals in the second period.
