Mark is a massive Manchester City fan and has come up with a unique way to try to raise money for his 12-year-old son and "best friend," Kirk, who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Mark has had to watch his son's condition worsen in recent years, and Kirk can no longer walk or raise his arms.
As Mark writes on his Just Giving Page:
I have had to watch him go from walking as a young child up to the age of 8 where he then became confined to a wheelchair, he can no longer use his arms, he also faces the prospect of having steel rods inserted into his spine and will have to go onto a feeding tube.
