Luis Suarez was a very happy man on Saturday night after scoring in Barcelona’s 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid.
The Uruguayan curled a brilliant strike past Jan Oblak to put Barcelona ahead with just five minutes of normal time remaining, before Lionel Messi finished the visitors off.
The win puts Barcelona on the brink of another title, and Suarez spoke about how important he felt his goal was after the match.
“This goal is one of the most important that I have scored in a Barca shirt,” he said.
“Now we have 11 points more than Atletico, there is a great margin, with the Champions League next it can be difficult for us, but we took two steps forward.
