Former FC Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is “one step away” from replacing Antonio Conte as Chelsea boss, according to Diario SPORT.
Matt Law wrote in The Telegraph that Luis Enrique, along with Juliano Belletti, was one of the favorites to replace Conte - but not now, rather next summer.
There were rumors that after Chelsea’s humiliation at the hands of Watford, by the score of 4-1, the Blues would sack Conte.
But Simon Stone of the BBC wrote: “On Monday afternoon, I was told very forcibly that stories Antonio Conte would lose his job if Chelsea lost at Watford last night were nonsense.
