Liverpool vs. Chelsea: Guus Hiddink's Key Quotes from Pre-Match Presser

Interim Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has downplayed claims of this being a "disaster" season for the Blues and has insisted a decision on the future of club stalwart John Terry lies with the board.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday's trip to face Liverpool at Anfield, Hiddink appeared to suggest "football disasters" tend to be blown out of proportion, per ESPN FC's Liam Twomey:

Hiddink on Chelsea's season: "When you say 'disaster' I think of bigger things in the world, but you might call it a football disaster."

With just two games remaining in his Stamford Bridge tenure, the Dutchman can perhaps afford to underplay a disappointing season in west London; however, his hint at football's concerns being exaggerated may well have some truth to it.
