Liverpool are reportedly preparing to return to Southampton once again in search of reinforcements as they are interested in signing Dutch centre-back Virgil van Dijk.
In recent seasons, the Reds have signed a number of players from the south-coast outfit, including Adam Lallana, Sadio Mane, Nathaniel Clyne, Rickie Lambert and Dejan Lovren.
According to former Newcastle United forward Micky Quinn on talkSPORT, Van Dijk is set to be Liverpool's next Saints target as manager Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his leaky defence, via Joe Rimmer in the Liverpool Echo.
"I believe they’re interested in Van Dijk, when the transfer window opens up," Quinn said.
