Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will reportedly revive his German connections this summer in a bid to bring both Marco Reus and Mario Gotze to Anfield, and Adam Lallana may be sold in order to finance their transfers.
The Sun's Mike McGrath surmised Lallana's departure could pave the way for Reus or Gotze to arrive on Merseyside, and the Daily Star's Alex Harris recently reported the latter Germany international is set to leave Bayern Munich.
The Reds have also received a boost in their hunt for soon-to-be out-of-contract Nice winger Hatem Ben Arfa after Sky Sports pundit Guillem Balague confirmed Barcelona won't pursue the ex-Newcastle United misfit:
"Ben Arfa is not an option for Barcelona," he said.
