Liverpool have reportedly been given the green light to hold talks with Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda about a potential transfer to Anfield, but only after the Coupe de France final on May 21.
The 31-year-old’s contract expires at the end of June, which means he’ll be available on a free transfer if the Ligue 1 side decide against renewing his deal.
And although Mandanda’s agent Stephane Courbis revealed his client will discuss terms with Marseille, he also said he’ll talk to other interested parties after the cup final showdown with Paris Saint-Germain—per Italian outlet Tuttomercato (via Charlie Phillippe of Daily Express):
"After May 21 we will talk with Marseille and the other interested clubs.
