Christian Benteke has emerged yet again as a target for Crystal Palace as the Eagles attempt to add power to their attack for the new Premier League campaign.
Giuseppe Muro of the London Evening Standard reported Selhurst Park boss Alan Pardew is "desperate" to add two more strikers as Connor Wickham is his only fit centre-forward. The Reds value Benteke at £30 million, leaving Pardew the option of bidding for the player, who has suffered a torrid time during his short stay at Anfield.
Muro quoted Pardew discussing his current options as he scours the market for value.
