Liverpool have reportedly had a £7 million bid rejected for Leicester City’s young left-back Ben Chilwell.
That’s according to James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo, who stated the package of £5 million plus a further £2 million in add-ons was deemed not sufficient by the champions. It’s suggested the Foxes will not accept an offer that amounts to anything less than their own £10 million valuation.
“Liverpool are now considering whether to up their offer for a defender who only has one year remaining on his current contract or focus their attention on alternative options,” added Pearce.
