Liverpool are reportedly interested in bringing in Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia on loan in January.
According to talkSPORT and Calciomercato (h/t Football Italia), Reds boss "Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the Italian centre-back and wants him in his defence for the second half of the season."
Ranocchia does not appear to feature in manager Frank de Boer's plans and thus a temporary switch could be on the cards.
The 28-year-old fell out of favour last year and spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Sampdoria. Under new coach De Boer, Ranocchia has played just twice, once in Serie A and once in the UEFA Europa League.
