Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho suffered a blow after Brazil coach Dunga decided to drop him for the next month’s 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
He was dropped in August for the friendly fixtures, but injuries to Chelsea star duo of Oscar and Ramires forced the manager to recall the 23-year-old midfielder. Brazil lost the opening qualifier fixture 2-0 to Chile.
However, the five-time world champions bounced back with a victory over Venezuela. Brazil face Argentina and Peru in space of five days on 12 and 17 November respectively. Coutinho, who was sidelined with injury returned to action.
