Liverpool Make Contact With Club For €40m Midfielder, Player Dreams Of Manchester United Move

French midfielder Moussa Sissoko is in demand in the transfer market following his exploits in Euro 2016. He is angling a move away from Newcastle United and has been linked with a host of heavyweight European clubs, including the likes of PSG and Real Madrid.

According to reports from French newspaper Le 10 Sport, French champions PSG are keen to sign the 26-year-old midfielder, who would cost around €40m. PSG, however, first need to sell Blaise Matuidi in order to accommodate him in the squad.

Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez has insisted that he would like to have Sissoko in his squad but at the same time will allow him to leave if the Magpies receive a good offer for him.
