Steven Gerrard stole the show on Saturday as the Liverpool Legends won a friendly charity football match 4-3 against the Real Madrid Legends at Anfield.
Michael Owen opened the scoring in the first half, and John Aldridge added to the tally after the break, with both goals coming off assists from Gerrard.
The legendary midfielder then won a penalty, which Robbie Fowler converted to make it 3-0, and he finally got a well-deserved goal with 13 minutes left to play.
Edwin Congo and Fernando Morientes scored consolation goals for the visitors, and Ruben de la Red added some late drama.
