- Lorient have made three changes to their side that defeat Saint Etienne. Zargo Toure, Arnold Mvuemba and Abdul Waris all come into the side this evening in an expected 4-3-3 formation.
- Emery has reacted to his side's defeat to Guingamp with Angel di Maria omitted from the squad for undisclosed injury reasons. He is replaced by Lucas Moura, while Kevin Trapp and Thomas Meunier also come into the side for Alphonse Areola and Serge Aurier.
- Fortunately for the reigning champions they've been handed an opportunity to make amends before the winter break against Lorient, who prop up the table with only 15 points from their 18 matches thus far this term.
