Lionel Messi Reportedly Offered Huge Money to Switch Mobile Phone Sponsors

Lionel Messi has reportedly been offered between €5 and €6 million to switch from Samsung to Chinese company Huawei as his mobile phone sponsor.

That's according to Marketing Deportivo (h/t Sport English) with the 28-year-old set to receive that figure annually as part of a two or three-year contract with Huawei, who already sponsor Real Madrid's James Rodriguez.

Barcelona won't stand to benefit from the deal, which is set to be officially agreed "in the coming days," as they won't own his image rights.
