Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has donated food and drink left over from his recent wedding to a Rosario charity.
According to Spanish news agency EFE (h/t Marca), the Rosario Food Bank accepted donations of food and drink after Messi's marriage to Antonella Roccuzzo. The organisation's director, Pablo Algrain, said:
"It all arrived to the store and we're controlling it. We don't yet know quite how much there is."
"We explained to the wedding organisers that we can accept soft drinks and snacks, but that we'd have to change alcoholic drinks for money because we cannot accept them.
