Inter Miami CF have reportedly offered Lionel Messi an interesting contract that could give him the option to join a European club on loan at the end of this year.
While such a contract has not been signed yet, and it would only be an option to join rather than a definitive plan, and no specific club was mentioned... the question does arise: could Messi return to FC Barcelona?
The idea behind the plan is to keep Messi in Miami but give him the choice to build up fitness during the MLS offseason in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
