Not even the Pope's visit to Mexico could stop all of Liga MX's games from Week 6 from happening, and it all kicked off on Friday with Veracruz hosting Club America at the Estadio Luis "Pirata" Fuente .
Club America had won their previous two games to steer pressure away from manager Ignacio Ambriz and deservedly took the lead just before the half-hour mark through Rubens Sambueza.
But the Tiburones Rojos went on the offensive following the restart, and equalized in spectacular fashion. Edgar Andrade received a free-kick from 30 yards out, and the midfielder fired an angled shot goalwards, which hit the upright and flew past Moises Muñoz to level things at 1-1.
