Liga MX transfer news: The latest rumors and chisme in Mexican soccer

Chivas are open to moving Javier "La Chofis" Lopez during the offseason in exchange for a defender, according to Record and ESPN Deportes.

Queretaro manager Rafa Puente Jr., however, isn't sure hope Lopez would fit in his system and is reluctant to welcome the player in a swap deal for Hiram Mier. For that reason, Chivas may work out a different deal for Mier but are talking with Monterrey on a move that would send Lopez north.

Mexico federation president Yon de Luisa will meet with manager Quiqui Sanchez Flores this week in London about the men's national team coaching vacancy, according to ESPN Spain .
