Necaxa’s left back Jairo González and right back Brayan Beckeles combined for Necaxa’s first goal against Santos in Necaxa’s 2-1 victory. Club América center back Pablo Aguilar scored the tying goal in América’s 4-3 come-from-behind victory over Cruz Azul. Club León center back Guillermo Burdisso contributed a goal in León’s 4-1 win over Atlas.
