Through Twitter, the club announced they had tried to reach an agreement but just weren’t able to, meaning that this season will be the last for the current champions under Ambriz. There will be a lot of speculation on what will be his move, especially since a lot of it could be to replace veteran coach Ricardo Ferretti in Tigres, who will also depart once the season ends or even to a possible move to Europe, where he was an assistant in Osasuna and Atletico Madrid when Javier Aguirre was at the helm.
