Late goal gave Pumas a tie against Vancouver Whitecaps in first leg of CONCACAF Champions Cup series

Pumas got an important result from the first leg match against Vancouver Whitecaps by getting a 1-1 tie. In a match that left a lot to be desired, Pumas’ defensive method to the match almost cost them the result but a late goal was able to give them the point and the away goal that might be useful. The return leg will be played next Wednesday in Mexico City where a win or a scoreless tie would give Pumas the ticket to the Semifinals of the competition.

The first half started with Pumas coming out with a strong 11 as they hoped to try to get a good result in the first leg although not as offensive as expected.
