Laporta wants Barcelona to be ‘more offensive’ under Koeman - report

Barcelona president Joan Laporta met with coach Ronald Koeman for talks on Thursday and there’s plenty of speculation about just what the two men discussed.

Mundo Deportivo reckon that the meeting was pretty harmonious and there was plenty of talk about this season and, in particular, Barca’s last few games.

Laporta wanted to know why Koeman thought his team had dropped crucial points which has seen the team’s title hopes all but ended. The Barca boss explained he feels his team have “lacked concentration” in key moments.

However, Laporta also informed the Dutchman that the club want Barcelona “to be more offensive” and asked “clear questions” about “whether he was willing to take certain risks next season to take a further leap in quality” and regain the club’s identity.
