Barcelona reportedly tried and failed to land Rafael Leao from AC Milan at the end of the summer transfer window.
Leao was linked with a late move to the Catalan giants after Barca missed out on top target Nico Williams.
Bar Canaletes report that Barcelona “went all out for Leao” and “presented the League with a Memorandum of Understanding” which detailed how the club aimed to fund the transfer by signing a new mega contract with Nike
However, the proposal apparently was not detailed enough and La Liga “did not accept the agreement in principle and rejected it.
