Real Betis moved into sixth in the La Liga table as Sergio Leon's late goal against the run of play earned them a 1-0 win over Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Monday.
A fascinating second half was dominated by Getafe and only a superb double save from Antonio Adan prevented Portillo giving the hosts the lead soon after the hour.
Leon then steered home a smart finish in the 89th minute to hand Betis the victory, although there was late controversy when a Leandro Cabrera header was adjudged not to have crossed the line.
