Las Palmas continued their tremendous recent form on Monday, as they came from behind to beat Deportivo la Coruna 3-1 at the Estadio Riazor.
It’s three wins in a row now for the Canary Islanders, who responded superbly to Lucas Perez’s goal early in the second period. Sergio Araujo netted twice on the night on either side of a David Garcia strike.
Las Palmas jump up into the top half of the table, leapfrogging their opponents with this triumph. Deportivo are languishing in the 12th spot, although don’t have to worry about a relegation battle, with a nine-point gap between them and Getafe, who are currently in 18th.
