The 26-year-old fullback moves to the MLS side after spending most of his career in the Dutch top flight
The LA Galaxy have signed Dutch defender Pele van Anholt, the MLS side announced Wednesday.
The 26-year-old fullback played for Willem II of the Eredivisie last season, starting 22 games in league for the side, which finished 13th.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though the defender was out of contract with Willem II.
“Pele is a talented and versatile player who will immediately add quality and experience to our defense,” LA Galaxy general manager Pete Vagenas said in a press release.
