Ronald Koeman reportedly met with Sergio Busquets on Tuesday to discuss his plans for the future at the Camp Nou.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the two chatted for around 30 minutes at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and Koeman confirmed the midfielder is in his plans.
However, the new Barca boss also warned that Busquets will face competition for a starting spot from Frenkie de Jong and new signing Miralem Pjanic.
Sport report that Busquets has been told that while he’s still wanted “he no longer has the privilege he is used to and is far from guaranteed to start all games.
