Klopp: Shootout victory was meant to be

The coach's final game in charge of Borussia Dortmund will be the DFB-Pokal final after his side beat Bayern Munich on penalties.

Jurgen Klopp believes it was "meant to be" when Borussia Dortmund beat Bayern Munich to reach the DFB-Pokal final.

Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring in the first half to give the hosts the lead, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leveled with 15 minutes remaining to take the game into extra time.

Dortmund went on to win the game 2-0 penalties, with Pep Guardiola's men missing their first three spot kicks and Manuel Neuer seeing the decisive effort crash off the crossbar.
