The United States national team released its roster for this month's camp that will conclude with matches against Iceland and Canada in Carson, California.
Jurgen Klinsmann has announced his 23-man roster for the United States team's upcoming matches against Iceland and Canada.
Nearly half the squad consists of players who are eligible for the U-23 team, which will face Columbia in a two-match playoff for a spot in next summer's Olympics in Brazil. The rest of the team includes veterans and players who are knocking on the door for regular call-ups.
“As we always do, we start out our year with a January camp where we give the opportunity to the next wave of players to come in and make an impression and see if they are ready to step it up into international level, if they are ready to understand what it takes to become a national team player," Klinsmann said in a statement.
